The firm of J H Cooke and Sons was originally founded in the Mayfair area of London in 1928.

We do all conservation work at our premises at Kew: cleaning, restoration and varnishing of paintings in our studio, and structural conservation, such as tear repair,lining, delining and panel work, in our conservation workshops. We have carried out structural treatments for other restorers for many years.

Although some clients prefer to call personally, we can arrange to visit to assess pictures and give quotations, and are able to transport paintings of reasonable size ourselves.
